WATCH: Burna Boy meets Kanye West in France

Burna Boy, Regina Daniels, Tonto Dikeh -- most talked-about Nigerian celebrities of 2019

Damini Ogulu, Nigerian Afrofusion sensation better known as Burna Boy, on Monday, met with Kanye West, US rapper, in France.
The two music heavyweights met at Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 8 fashion show in Paris, capital of France.
Burna Boy took to his Instagram story to share clips, where the duo can be seen brimming with smiles while also exchanging hugs.
In one of the short visuals, the ‘African Giant’ crooner was heard saying ‘Ye’ — apparently referring to the similarity of title shared between his song and Kanye’s album.
Burna Boy had in January 2018 released ‘Ye’, a track off his ‘Outside’ album. Six months later, the ‘Jesus is King’ crooner would drop an album with the same title.
The Afrobeats star started to gain global attention after his single was mistaken for the rapper’s body of work.
The fashion show, was however, dominated by the spectacular performance from North, West’s daughter, who rapped while models walked the runway.
West was seen on stage with smiles etched on his face as North wowed the audience with her offerings.

Both singers have continued to pull the strings in their respective countries and command huge fanbases.
Burna Boy is presently one of the biggest figures in the Nigerian music industry following an impressive year 2019.
He, however, stirred controversies recently when he described himself as the best in the Nigerian music industry since Fela Kuti, Afrobeat legend.
